Here are some pictures of this remodeled kitchen in West Chester. The kitchen went through some major style changes. The soffits were removed, as was the diagonal pantry. Removing the pantry allowed using shallow pantry cabinets on a whole wall - providing great storage to replace the pantry and making more room in the kitchen to allow a larger island with seating on the pantry side.
The room is very well lighted with plenty of recessed lights, pendant lights over the island and under cabinet lighting, all on digital dimmers. The soft off white cabinets with a chocolate glaze surround the distressed black island cabinets and they both go so well with the hardwood floor and the great new paint color. The refrigerator is a cabinet-depth model, helping to give the room a more spacious feel. The range is a slide-in model, giving a custom, built-in look. The backsplash is tumbled stone tile in the 3×6 size.
