Finished pictures of College Hill kitchen

This remodeled kitchen in College Hill went through considerable change. The soffit was removed and the cabinets and moldings now go to the ceiling. The sink was moved to the corner to provide more  counter space, particularly an ample workspace between the sink and the refrigerator. The cabinets are an off-white paint with a pewter glaze. The counters are solid surface in a deep brown color. The backsplash is made from 6½ porcelain tile in a diagonal pattern with groupings of 9 glass tiles as random inserts. The old flooring and plywood decking were removed and a new hardwood floor was installed.

For additional storage and counter space, tall cabinets with a counter between were installed on an opposite wall. The counter will serve as a table space with seating. The table counter is 36" high and will also serve as additional work space.

College Hill kitchen remodeling is progressing

This kitchen in College Hill is starting to take its new shape. Here are the counter tops being installed↓↓

This is the area where the table top will go - between the tall storage cabinets↓↓

The cabinets are approximately 90" high and there is a 3 piece molding assembly that goes to the ceiling. The new kitchen faucet is installed.

New Project - Kitchen Remodeling in College Hill

Here is a new project starting in College Hill in Cincinnati. The old plaster soffit will be removed and the new cabinets and molding will go to the ceiling. The existing layers of old flooring will be removed and a new hardwood floor will be installed flush with the adjacent hardwood floors.

The old soffit has been removed, notice the old plumbing vent that was in the soffit to the left of the window. It will be covered behind the cabinet molding↓↓

The new kitchen design will accommodate the goals of more counter space, more storage and a place for seating. The sink plumbing was moved because the new sink will be in the corner to provide more counter space between the sink and the refrigerator. Now the cabinet installation can begin↓↓
