This kitchen in Reading was recently finished and these are the pictures of the finished product.
The project involved removing the soffits and rearranging the layout. The range was moved away from the side wall. The sink was moved to the corner to provide a nice long working counter space. The refrigerator was moved to the opposite wall - also to allow the long counter space. A nice arrangement of recessed lights and full undercabinet lighting, all on digital dimmers, make this a well lighted kitchen.
The cabinets are natural maple and contrast nicely with the coffee brown quartz counters. The backsplash is tiled with a tumbled stone tile that has been installed on the diagonal, except for the section over the range - installed square for a subtle design effect. The stone tiles were sealed with an enhancing sealer to bring out the character of the stone.
Most of the base cabinet storage is drawers of various heights, all using full extension soft close hardware. The drawer storage works well because the drawers come completely out of the cabinets allowing full access with no restrictions.
