Anderson kitchen is finished

This kitchen in Anderson Township is finished. The kitchen was installed in an area that was previously a breakfast room. The original kitchen is adjacent and will serve nicely as a butlers pantry and mud room. The cabinets feature an off-white finish with a Sterling glaze. The deep green color of the solid surface counter tops really looks great with the cabinets. The backsplash is made of stone tile using 3x6 tiles and a stone mosaic over the cooktop. The rich color and texture of the stone is brought out by the enhancing sealer applied to the tiles.

Anderson kitchen - counter tops are being installed

The counter tops are being installed in this kitchen in Anderson. The dark green solid surface really goes well with the cabinets.

Here the undercabinet lighting has been installed and the tile backsplash is being installed. The tiles are stone tiles in a 3x6 subway tile size. There is a dense stone mosaic pattern over the cooktop.

Anderson kitchen - starting the cabinet installation

The electric and plumbing are roughed-in and the cabinets are being installed. The cabinets are off white with a  pewter glaze.There will be built-up molding to the ceiling that will cover the gaps currently above the cabinets

New kitchen in Anderson Township

We are starting a new kitchen that involves putting the kitchen in an empty room that was previously a breakfast room. The kitchen will be an efficient U-shape layout and there will be a raised bar counter with overhang for use with bar height chairs. There was an existing dropped ceiling that was removed.

Here is the room before the work was started↓↓

When the ceiling was removed, it was discovered that there were some joists that were weakened with overcutting for access for plumbing during the original home construction. Steel plates were bolted onto both sides of the weakened joists. The ceiling can now be drywalled. ↓↓
